I’m Kim Stredney - explorer, adventure seeker, career and life coach, and the founder of North Fork Coaching.

I’ve always been fascinated by what drives people to reinvent themselves and rediscover meaning in their work and lives — probably because my own life path has never followed a straight line. My academic and professional pursuits have taken me from cultural anthropology to journalism to coaching. Along my journey, I’ve found myself writing grants for an education nonprofit in a remote Ghanaian village, co-leading a team travel expedition on horseback through the mountains of Ecuador, and coaching Google’s top leaders in New York and California. Each chapter has profoundly deepened my understanding of human motivation, resilience, and transformation.
